Apply today!About the roleJob DescriptionThe CDL Driver is responsible for performing the duties associated with transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste between Reworld facilities and the client's sites. In addition to transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste, drivers may also operate a variety of equipment including vacuum tankers, vacuum trucks, vans, and flat beds.Total Rewards & Compensation:

  • Operate equipment in a safe manner following DOT regulations and company policies and regulations.
  • Drive commercial vehicles to pick up and transport waste to a designated location safely while meeting scheduled appointments and following all DOT regulations.
  • Ensure placarding of the vehicle meets DOT regulations.
  • Maintain paperwork including expense reports, timesheets, vehicle inspection reports, manifests, and job sheets.
  • Inspect truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
  • Secure cargo prior to and during transit.
  • Complete additional assigned duties.
  • Must be able to work on a rotating shift schedule and work overtime as needed including nights, weekends, and holidays.Position Requirements:
    • High School Diploma, preferred
    • Must have valid driver's license and Class A CDL license
    • Hazmat Endorsement
    • Tanker EndorsementPhysical Demand of the Role:
      • Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb
      • Ability to lift/carry 50lbs
      • Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces
      • Qualify to wear a full-face respirator
