Job Description:
Purpose: Trillium Health seeks a versatile individual to fill
the IT Specialist role. The successful candidate will play a
crucial role in ensuring the IT security and integrity of our
information systems. This role will consist of both technical and
administrative duties. This position will leverage Arctic Wolf's
MDR (Managed Detection Response) and MSA (Managed Security
Awareness) systems to help manage the IT security risk registrar
and support the end-user training program. The goal is to ensure
that our IT infrastructure remains resilient against emerging
threats. The IT Specialist will also maintain department contracts,
IT Policies, metrics and assist in budget and procurement-related
activities. In addition, participate in service desk activities
across multiple locations, with a focus on ensuring IT security and

RegistrarResponsible for maintaining the IT Risk Registrar,
including tracking the progress of all IT-identified risks and risk
mitigation strategies.Assist with monitoring IT risks identified in
the Arctic Wolf Managed Detection & Response System.Responsible for
working with the IT team or department liaison to ensure all
identified risks have been addressed and validated as needed.Ensure
compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements,
such as HIPAA, HITRUST, PCI DSS, and NIST.Perform regular system
audits to ensure security policies and procedures are being
followed.Responsible for maintaining PCI compliance to allow
patients to pay by credit cards over the phone.In conjunction with
the organization's compliance functions, participate in any
information security audits.Collaborate with cross-functional teams
to track the impact of security measures on business
processes.Maintain an incident response plan and participate in
regular drills to ensure preparedness for security incidents.IT
Security Policy MaintenanceAssist in developing, implementing, and
maintaining information security policies, procedures, and
guidelines.Regularly review and update IS&T policies to align
with industry best practices and evolving security
requirements.Stay informed about industry best practices and
emerging threats, ensuring security policies are up-to-date and
effective.Security Awareness Training ProgramResponsible for
maintaining the Arctic Wolf Managed Security Awareness IT security
training program to ensure the establishment and maintenance of a
robust role-based end-user training program.Promote a culture of
security awareness and education among staff, conducting training
sessions as needed and leveraging our vendor resources.Keep
stakeholders informed about the latest security threats and best
practices.IT OperationsAssist in the management of IT contracts and
associated procedures to ensure compliance with internal processes
and regulations.Assists with IT budget and procurement related
activities.Assist in maintaining IT metrics and dashboards to
ensure that the quality and delivery of IT services meet desired
targets. This includes root cause analysis and recommending
corrective action.Participate and manage IT projects as needed.Must
have strong communication skills (listening, written, and verbal)
with the ability to communicate effectively with staff of varying
technical expertise.Foster relationship-building, internal and

in new hire IT orientation . This includes welcoming new employees,
deploying computers, orienting them on the devices and key
resources. Ensure that new hires are set up with the necessary
tools and resources to perform their roles effectively.Ensure
compliance with agency policies and guidelines : Adhere to and
enforce IT policies and procedures to maintain a secure and
efficient IT environment. This includes monitoring for compliance
and addressing any violations promptly.Document technical support
procedures : Maintain accurate records of support requests,
resolutions, and other relevant information. This helps in tracking
recurring issues and improving the overall support process.Assist
with IT projects : Collaborate with other IT team members on
various projects, such as system upgrades, network improvements,
and new technology implementations. Provide support and expertise
to ensure successful project completion.Provide training and
support to end users : Conduct training sessions and create
documentation to help users understand and effectively use IT
systems and tools. This includes creating user guides, FAQs, and
other resources.Provide technical support to end users : Address
and resolve technical issues related to computer systems, software,
hardware, and network connectivity. This involves responding to
help desk tickets, diagnosing problems, and implementing solutions
in a timely manner.MiscellaneousRequires the ability and commitment

assigned.QualificationsAssociate degree in information technology
or related field.At least two years of proven experience in a Help
Desk, IT Specialist, IT Security, or similar IT role.Knowledge of
information security principles and best practices.Experience with
relevant regulations, standards, and frameworks, such as HIPAA,
HITRUST, PCI DSS, and the NIST Cyber Security Framework a
plus.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Exhibit
analytical skills and critical thinking to analyze problems,
document needs, and communicate these needs to various audiences
required.Demonstrate flexibility to adapt to new and changing
information.Demonstrate impeccable organization, attention to
detail, and follow-up skills.Be a self-starter, highly motivated,
results-driven individual.Possess a strong willingness to learn new
