Nursing Informatics Coordinator at Deborah Heart and Lung Center summary:
The Nursing Informatics Coordinator evaluates and directs the implementation of clinical systems in patient care services. This role requires a bachelor's degree in nursing or computer sciences, and experience in medical information systems, as well as strong interaction skills with both clinical and technical teams. A registered nurse license is mandatory, and proficiency in systems like Meditech is preferred, along with AANC Certification in Nursing Informatics.

Position Summary: - -Evaluates, strategically directs and coordinates the implementation of all clinical and related systems used by the Patient Care Services.
Experience

• 
  
• Required: 3-5 years experience in medical information systems, 3-5 years Clinical experience (2 years Cardiology experience). Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with clinical and technical personnel in the application of information technology.

  • Required: Bachelors Degree in Nursing, Computer sciences, or related field
    
  • Preferred: Masters Degree in Nursing Informatics

    • Required: Registered Nurse

      • Required: Working knowledge of PCs, MS Office Applications, including MS Project. AANC Certification in Nursing Informatics is desired.
