• Employment Type: Travel Stepdown/PCU RN Vineland, NJ 36 Hours/week Unit: Float Pool Nights 12 (18:45-7:15) (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM) Additional Information Unit Description: Trach care, bariatrics, nocturnal vents, stroke care 1:5 for SD/PCU; 1:6 if floated to acute care. MSD cares for PD patients, CSD cares for stroke patients, SSD cares for surgical patients. Float: within speciality/ Elmer Every other Sat/Sunday - 1 Holiday per contract Experience Requirements: Must have a MIN. of 2 years experience working on a Step Down/PCU unit. Current licensure with New Jersey State Board of Nursing as required by law. BLS required. ACLS required. NIHSS Required Float Requirements: Nurse must be willing to float to ED Hold and other units within specialty. First Day Instructions: Sent by Client directly to the worker by 5pm the Friday prior to Monday start. The worker will receive three emails from Client. 1. TEAMS link for Monday which is a virtual orientation day. a. They will attend a Teams meeting and then continue the day with 'at your pace' modules. 2. Education to schedule their orientation classes. a. Classes take place Tuesday-Thursday, and the candidate MUST attend. If they try to reschedule or miss a class, they will not be able to complete their assignment. b. The POCT class is scheduled for the 2nd or 3rd week of the assignment. Please ensure your worker has their POCT class date and remembers to attend. 3. HR Email- scheduling an ID Badge appointment and review policy/procedure. a. The ID badge is very important to obtain prior to their Orientation Shift. This is how the candidate clocks in and out, which is how invoicing/billing occurs! *Workers must be available the full 7 days of their first week for Orientation.
